Job Title: Site Quality Assurance Manager Job Description:

The Site Quality Assurance Manager will oversee site quality ensuring defect-free execution of foundations, structures, buildings, and infrastructure. They will develop project-specific Civil QA/QC plans, Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans.

They will oversee quality inspections of civil works including foundations, inverter/transformer foundations, control rooms, and cable trenches. The manager will ensure quality checks on concrete works, reinforcement, compaction, curing, and geotechnical aspects.

Additionally, the Site Quality Assurance Manager will manage non-conformance identification, reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. They will also monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with approved drawings, codes, and specifications.

The manager will conduct stage-wise inspections – excavation, formwork, steel fixing, concreting, backfilling, and finishing. They will ensure adherence to international civil construction standards and coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to address material quality issues.

Furthermore, the Site Quality Assurance Manager will guide site engineers and supervisors on civil quality best practices. They will act as the primary point of contact for client/consultant regarding civil quality issues.

The manager will prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly civil quality reports with clear KPIs and actionable insights. They will also maintain accurate records of inspection results and track progress towards established quality targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of civil works for solar PV plants, especially foundations, infrastructure, and structural integrity.
  • Expertise in QA/QC processes, civil codes, and testing procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory and field testing of materials (concrete, soil, aggregates, steel).

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required. Additionally, 7+ years of civil QA/QC experience, with at least 5+ years in utility-scale solar PV/EPC projects is necessary.
