Job Description:

We are seeking a talented professional to join our dynamic Change Management and Continuous Improvement team as a Change and People Engagement Specialist at HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED.

This role will empower you to influence and help shape the overall Supply Chain Management (SCM) change and continuous improvement network.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to drive document management and conduct change management and continuous improvement activities, including developing and implementing end-to-end review processes for documents.

This position requires a can-do attitude, tenacious and seasoned communications professional who can effectively manage multiple critical projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

As a Change and People Engagement Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Change Management and Continuous Improvement (CMCI) based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide key support to Knowledge Manager in implementing the Knowledge Management Framework and collaborating with cross-functional content owners to review, revise, and approve documentation.
  • Manage SCM documents using an established efficient document control system, developing and publishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WIN).
  • Maintain document control databases or other platforms to ensure proper oversight and management of SCM documents, including ownership, access, and organization.
  • Develop and implement end-to-end review processes for documents, conducting quality assurance prior to publication.
  • Continuously improve documentation processes, conduct training on document control processes and systems, and ensure adherence to established procedures.
  • Support the Head of CMCI in developing and executing impactful messaging, understanding business needs, audience motivations, and delivering effective solutions and campaigns.
  • Compile and maintain team assets in various asset management platforms.
  • Prepare organizational announcements, update organizational charts, and maintain distribution groups.
  • Provide content support to SCM stakeholders, including writing, proofreading, and editing.
  • Manage stakeholders and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met by those involved in communication projects.
  • Support the SCM function in bringing D&I strategy to life and act as a champion for diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  • Analyze data and feedback to make informed recommendations to address employee needs and concerns.
  • Assist the Competency & Training Manager with the administration of training courses, including organizing training sessions and maintaining learner records.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in marketing or journalism.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience gained within an international B2B environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive, result-oriented with strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking combined with hands-on approach to translate plans to actions and monitor progress.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with remote global teams.
  • Business knowledge in power/industrial technology is an advantage.
  • Hands-on creative skills for developing assets, including PowerPoint and visual materials.
  • Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
