Senior Information Security Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Information Security Strategist to lead our efforts in safeguarding our information systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Information Security Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive information security strategy that protects against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  2. Oversee Security Architecture Design and Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption solutions, and other security technologies.
  3. Lead Security Awareness and Training Programs: Develop and execute security awareness and training programs for all employees to foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
  4. Identify and Mitigate Security Risks: Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of our operations, including applications, infrastructure, and third-party vendors.
  5. Monitor and Analyze Security Incidents: Monitor and analyze security incidents and breaches, and coordinate incident response activities to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.
  6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal compliance, and business units, to integrate security requirements into business processes and systems development life cycles.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Threats: Stay abreast of emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices in cybersecurity, and assess their potential impact on our security posture.
Requirements & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in information security roles, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive information security programs in a complex multi-platform environment.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, security operations, and incident response.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent, highly desirable.
