Business Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely, high-quality client service as part of the client engagement teams serving large and small companies in various industries.

The ideal candidate will have strong working relationships with teams, understanding and solving clients' complex businesses and challenges. They will also understand clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues.

The Business Operations Manager will perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based on the overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.

They will identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.

The candidate will research technical accounting issues, develop industry expertise, prepare audit reports, and management letters. They will also exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements.

Additionally, they will ensure that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm, work collaboratively as a part of the team, and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Commerce/MBA
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA, 4-7 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit related field
  • Strong technical skills in accounting including GAAP and GAAS
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
