Job Description – Business Manager / Operations Manager – Wedding Photography & Cinematography

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Manager / Operations Manager to oversee and streamline all operational aspects of our wedding photography, cinematography, and videography business. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mix of leadership, client management, scheduling, and production coordination skills—someone who can ensure every wedding shoot runs like clockwork and exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business & Operations Management

  2. Oversee daily business operations, ensuring smooth coordination between creative, sales, and post-production teams.

  3. Develop, implement, and improve operational systems, processes, and policies.

  4. Track budgets, expenses, and project profitability.

  5. Negotiate with vendors, freelancers, and partners for best rates and quality.

  6. Client & Project Coordination

  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from booking to delivery.

  8. Understand client requirements and ensure the creative team is well-briefed.

  9. Prepare and manage timelines for pre-wedding, wedding day, and post-production phases.

  10. Handle client queries, feedback, and revisions with professionalism.

  11. Shoot Planning & Logistics

  12. Coordinate crew assignments for photography, cinematography, and drone operations.

  13. Plan shoot schedules, travel arrangements, and equipment needs.

  14. Ensure backup plans are in place for manpower, weather, or technical contingencies.

  15. Team Leadership

  16. Supervise photographers, videographers, editors, and support staff.

  17. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and resolve issues.

  18. Oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews of team members.

  19. Quality Control & Delivery

  20. Ensure deliverables (photos, videos, albums, trailers) meet brand quality standards.

  21. Monitor timelines for editing, album design, and final delivery.

  22. Maintain a consistent feedback loop with the creative team to ensure continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • *Experience:* 4+ years in business operations or production management, preferably in photography/videography or events.

  • *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Media Production, or related field (MBA is a plus).

  • *Skills:* Strong leadership and people management skills; excellent communication and client-handling abilities; proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and MS Office/Google Workspace; basic understanding of photography/cinematography equipment and workflow; budgeting and cost-control experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
