Job Title: Software Algorithm Developer

Job Description:

Join a leading team of software engineers and design, implement and optimize algorithms for industrial inspection applications. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop machine learning models and deep learning techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and improve training sets and associated workflow processes for image recognition tasks.
  • Develop and implement novel techniques to enhance model performance by optimizing hyperparameters.
  • Assess various machine learning models to identify the most suitable approach for specific tasks.
  • Collaborate with global teams throughout all phases of product lifecycles.
  • Work with product engineering teams to define performance specifications and deliver results that meet those expectations.
  • Provide technical support during product demos and beta testing, working closely with domain experts on customer engagement projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in computer vision or pattern recognition.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate solutions and analyze complex systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Linux shell scripting, and object-oriented programming.
  • Ability to learn and work with source code control software.
  • At least 4-8 years of experience in algorithm development and computer vision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing machine learning workflows and implementing them in production.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively.
  • Domestic or international travel for up to 20% of the time may be required for supporting customer betas or visiting/training abroad.
