Senior DSP Engineer Job Overview

DSP Systems Engineers with advanced algorithm development expertise are sought after to utilize Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics, digital signal processing, and communication systems, as well as experience designing, choosing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for radar or other relevant sensors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and verify signal processing algorithms using Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory techniques.
  • Design and simulate end-to-end systems from the ground up to meet required performance specifications.
  • Analyze data and verify algorithms against real-world data.

Requirements:

  • MSEE degree with focus on DSP or digital communications theory.
  • 3-10 years of experience implementing DSP algorithms.
  • Expertise in MATLAB and C/C++, with experience in other languages (e.g., Python).
  • A willingness to learn and implement new algorithms in groundbreaking technology.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Background with Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW).
  • Expertise in Radar link budgets, analysis of Minimum Detectable Signal, Signal-to-Noise, and Signal-to-Clutter.
  • Experience developing DSP algorithms on FPGAs.
