ServiceNow Solution Designer

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow solution designer to drive the implementation of our ServiceNow platform.

Job Description:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand user requirements and determine the needs of our organization
  • Design and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet business objectives
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules to optimize performance
  • Configure Application UIs and Workflows to streamline processes
  • Demonstrate expertise in application modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, CMDB, Knowledge, and Self-service Portal
  • Create custom reports and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with other ServiceNow administrators and developers to achieve successful outcomes
  • Maintain consistency in code alignment across instances to ensure best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience working in a design and development role for a ServiceNow platform
  • 2+ years of experience as a ServiceNow administrator
  • Proven ability to transition technology from locally focused to centralized technology service organization
  • Experience with ITSM functions and modules within ServiceNow
  • Understanding of RESTful Web Services and APIs
  • Familiarity with IT and Security management best practices (ITIL, COBIT, ISO standards)
  • Experience developing workflows and supporting service technology teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Desired Certifications: ITIL Foundations Certification, ServiceNow Developer Certification(s)
  • Essential Skills: Conceptual skills, ability to articulate and document desired business outcomes, ability to remove ambiguity from requirements, service orientation with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, unit and regression testing to strive for first-time right deployments, troubleshooting and diagnostics, communication skills (verbal and written)
