Job Title: Database Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL professional to fill a key role in our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in database administration, performance optimization, and query tuning for large-scale databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize large-scale PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.
  • Perform query optimization, database tuning, and indexing strategies for high-performance applications to minimize latency and maximize throughput.
  • Implement and monitor database backup, recovery, and failover strategies to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
  • Manage database security, roles, and access privileges to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to improve application performance and reduce errors.

Mandatory Skills:

  • PostgreSQL database administration expertise.
  • Strong experience in performance optimization & query tuning to achieve optimal database performance.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux environment to manage database systems and resolve technical issues.
  • Proven work with timesqldb and related toolkit utilities to streamline database operations.
