Accountant Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in financial tools and software.

  • Daily Accounting Tasks: The selected candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and ledger entries.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: The candidate will prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management information systems (MIS) reports.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: The successful applicant will ensure compliance with statutory requirements and support audits with proper documentation.
  • Inventory Management: The chosen individual will manage inventory accounting and cost analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably working under a certified accountant (CA) or in a CA firm.
  • Proficient in Tally or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable/Accounts Receivable, Goods and Services Tax (GST), MIS reporting, and compliances.
  • Experience with inventory accounting is desirable, particularly in the Food and Beverage (F&V) domain.
