Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Java, Selenium, Web API testing, and DevOps practices.

  • The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automating functional, regression, API, and integration test cases.
  • Performing REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Python requests libraries.
  • Collaborating with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.

Required Skills:

  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, using Postman, Rest Assured, or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Agile Practices: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
