Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development life cycle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our mobile apps, web platform, backend systems, and machine learning–powered features.

  • Manual testing of new and existing features, as well as automation testing for expanded test coverage and capabilities.
  • Testing ML-driven features for accuracy, performance, and user experience.
  • Creating, maintaining, and executing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Collaboration with product managers, developers, and designers for smooth feature rollouts.
  • Investigating reported issues and working with the dev team for resolutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and usability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize defects, develop and execute test plans, and collaborate on solutions to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of new and existing features to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Automation Testing: Develop and execute automation tests to expand test coverage and capabilities.
  • Test Case Development: Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and bug reports to ensure high-quality results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure smooth feature rollouts and effective issue resolution.
  • Issue Investigation: Investigate reported issues and work with the dev team to resolve them efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 Years of QA Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in manual testing across mobile, web, and backend environments.
  • Strong Understanding of QA Methodologies: Thorough knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and bug lifecycle.
  • Hands-on Experience with Tools: Proficient use of tools like Jira, Postman, or similar.
  • Bug Reporting: Ability to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.

Nice To Have:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Knowledge: Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and QA's role in them.
  • Scripting Language Knowledge: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript.
