About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the housing finance landscape, regulatory frameworks, and customer preferences.

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market by developing strategic plans, leading product development, conducting market analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Product Development: Lead the development and enhancement of home loan products, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, risk, compliance, and technology. Utilize customer feedback, market research, and data analysis to inform product features and pricing strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify target segments, assess customer needs, and evaluate demand for home loan products. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance and market share, implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing home lending activities. Work closely with the compliance and risk teams to establish robust controls, manage credit risk, and maintain portfolio quality.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals responsible for home loan origination, underwriting, and servicing. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning to drive team performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, and senior management, to drive alignment and support for home lending initiatives. Collaborate with external partners such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and industry associations to expand distribution channels and enhance market presence.
  • Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach to product design and service delivery, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the home loan lifecycle. Solicit feedback from customers and frontline staff to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
