Senior Business Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform data from multiple sources and build actionable reports.
  • Design complex database queries to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Develop interactive dashboards using Python and libraries like Matplotlib/Seaborn.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Validate data quality, ensure compliance with governance practices, and implement automation tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Expertise in SQL, including query optimization, joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and window functions.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, specifically with Pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Ability to bridge business needs with technical requirements and analytical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with statistics and basic machine learning concepts.
