Lead Risk Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Risk Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing oversight and governance of complex business groups or managing integrated enterprise-wide operational risk programs/initiatives.

You will proactively identify potential business operational risks and develop innovative operational risk approaches and solutions across the enterprise through an influence model. Your expertise will help us drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver repeatable end-to-end risk management solutions.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner. You will have the opportunity to leverage your experience to bring industry-leading standards, practices, and tools to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and governance of complex business groups or management of integrated enterprise-wide operational risk programs/initiatives
  • Proactive identification of potential business operational risks
  • Development and implementation of innovative operational risk approaches and solutions across the enterprise
  • Alignment of stakeholder groups to drive repeatable end-to-end risk management solutions
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • University degree in Business or related discipline
  • Experience in risk management or front-line control's function
