**Director of Governance & Risk Management**We are seeking a seasoned Governance & Risk Management Director to lead our organization's governance and risk management functions. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective governance policies and frameworks that align with our business objectives.Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement corporate governance policies and frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate bylaws, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the board of directors, audit, and risk committees to provide governance support and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assess and monitor operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and address potential risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in governance and risk management, preferably in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to governance and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with senior leaders, board members, and other stakeholders.
  • Aptitude for analyzing complex data and making informed decisions.
