Job Title

Operations Manager

Job Summary
  • This role will be part of the Governance and Leadership Team
  • Participate in the uptake of a comprehensive program across the organization
  • Support the establishment of strategies for IT and business stakeholders
  • Participate in governance activities
  • Operationalize a Framework (services and delivery aspect)
  • Prepare and maintain reporting metrics and scorecard
  • Stay informed of emerging policies, procedures, threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
  • Supervise 1 Operations Analyst at the site
Organizational Relationships
  • Will primarily interact with Tech & Digital, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
Responsibilities

Manage resources and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Oversee a team member at the site
Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Formal training and/or experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Data Privacy, and computer system validation space highly desired
  • Relevant certification is preferred

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, including IT Risk Management
  • 6+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries supporting IT initiatives is a plus
  • Expertise in principles, theories, and concepts of regulatory compliance; including industry knowledge of implementing controls within processes and tools
  • Demonstrated skills for guiding quality and compliance activities during system development and implementation
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with individuals and groups at multiple levels across the organization
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills

Work Environment
