Operational Risk Governance Leader

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead and drive the development of innovative operational risk approaches and solutions across the enterprise. As a key member of our Operational Risk team, you will be responsible for providing oversight and governance of complex business groups or managing integrated enterprise-wide operational risk programs/initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing company-wide oversight and governance of an integrated operational risk program or initiative.
  • Developing and driving innovative operational risk approaches and solutions company-wide through an influence model.
  • Identifying potential business operational risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Reviewing and challenging business operational risk management practices and outcomes.
  • Building and sustaining a strong risk culture, including a balanced approach through working in cooperation and consultation with all lines of defense across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of operational risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or related discipline.
  • Experience in risk management or front-line control's function.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
