Job Description

Design engineers with 4-8 years of experience in roof rail design for passenger vehicles, including hatchbacks and SUVs, are highly sought after. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing roof rails using CATIA V5.

  • Develop innovative roof rail systems for hatchback, SUV, and passenger vehicle programs, ensuring feasibility considering structural strength, safety, styling, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Maintain packaging awareness and interface with adjacent systems (roof, body side, sealing, trim), ensuring seamless integration.
  • Prepare and review 3D/2D design documentation in CATIA V5, applying best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (styling, BIW, trim, manufacturing) to drive project success.
  • Apply learnings from prior vehicle program experiences to improve future designs.
