Job Title

An experienced quality professional is sought to lead the entire quality function for metals/alloys manufacturing.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of aerospace quality management systems, including AS9100D and ISO/IEC 17025. They will be responsible for managing QA laboratory equipment, leading Process Quality Control engineers & Quality Assurance Engineers, and ensuring compliance with production and dispatch quality requirements.

This role involves managing a team of quality professionals, including laboratory personnel and shop floor inspectors. The successful candidate will have proven ability to lead QA engineers and shop floor inspectors to ensure compliance with production and dispatch quality requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing QA, QC and Process Control team
  • Ensuring AS9100D compliant quality processes
  • Overseeing metallurgical & mechanical testing laboratory
  • Driving NABL accreditation and maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 compliance
  • Developing and implementing SOPs and quality manuals
  • Planning and executing internal and external audits
  • Mentoring and training engineers and shop floor inspectors
  • Investigating non-conformances and process deviations
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy / Materials Science / Metallurgical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in quality assurance and control in metals/alloys manufacturing industry.

Familiarity with NADCAP certification and its implementation is highly preferred.

Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills are essential for this role.
