Job Description:

The Modern Trade Manager is responsible for driving business growth in the modern trade segment through strategic planning, market development, and sales channel management.

  • Strategic Planning & Market Development:
    • Develop and execute business plans to drive expansion in the modern trade segment.
    • Implement strategies to increase brand awareness and achieve sales targets.
  • Sales & Channel Management:
    • Manage and prioritize multiple sales channels, including hypermarkets, metros, and e-commerce platforms.
    • Achieve sales targets and ensure consistent growth in the modern trade segment.
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with modern trade clients, vendors, and business partners.
    • Negotiate contracts and terminate agreements as necessary.
  • Marketing & Brand Development:
    • Implement brand awareness campaigns and product launches in the modern trade segment.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive advertising and promotional activities.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare financial reports detailing sales performance, ROI, and profit margins.
    • Analyze market trends and customer data to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in modern trade sales, preferably in the tea or food segments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with modern trade platforms and retail chains.
