Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Lease Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless transition into new accounting standards, providing end-to-end process management, and overseeing document preparation.

The role involves taking on the responsibility for communication with clients, analyzing and reporting on IFRS 16/ ASC 842 topics, and building strong relationships with client-side real estate / finance teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of financial and accounting acumen, being in the process of ACCA / CFA certification or equivalent would be an asset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Financial and Accounting Acumen: Excellent knowledge of IFRS 16/ ASC 842 topics, and ability to analyze and report on financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, with elements of VBA.
  • Education: Bachelor's / M.A. degree in Finance / Accounting or Economics.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of work experience within finance and accounting area.
