Derivatives Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Derivatives Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating various activities related to derivatives.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in status/progress reporting using Test Metrics and should be able to coordinate with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, Developers, and Management effectively.

  • Leading Team Experience: Our desired candidate must have prior experience of leading a team to achieve project goals.
  • Status/Progress Reporting: The individual should be well-versed in using Test Metrics to track progress and report on status.
  • Coordination Skills: Excellent coordination skills are necessary to work effectively with various stakeholders including BAs, SMEs, Developers, and Management.
  • Capital Markets Experience: A background in Capital Markets is essential for this role.
  • Derivatives Knowledge: Strong knowledge of derivatives is mandatory.
  • Calypso Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Calypso products is also required.
  • V17 Experience: Good-to-have experience working with V17.
  • Problem Investigation and Resolution: The candidate should be skilled in investigating and resolving problems/issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Agile Experience: Previous experience working in Agile environments is desirable.
