Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering technical support to end-users, maintaining desktop environments, and ensuring the efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Assist in the setup and deployment of new equipment and software installations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT assets and keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Respond to support requests in a timely manner and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
  • Experience with remote support tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and basic troubleshooting of network issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with users.
Work Environment

The selected candidate will work in Jaipur, India.
