Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Professional plays a pivotal role in maintaining the quality standards of raw materials and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and parts against specifications and purchase orders.
  • Prepare inspection reports and escalate any deviations found.
  • Participate in First Article Inspections (FAI) and sample approval processes.
  • Conduct quality checks across production stages to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Identify real-time defects or process deviations and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to quality checkpoints and control plans on the shop floor.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and operators for smooth implementation of quality standards.
  • Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for defects or non-conformities.
  • Maintain comprehensive inspection records, reports, and change logs.
  • Ensure all inspection tools and gauges are calibrated and used correctly.
  • Support internal and external audits with traceable documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in automotive or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection methods, gauging techniques, and measurement tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Preferred Background: Automobile / Auto Components Engineering / Fabrication / Manufacturing setups with strong QC procedures.
