Director of Education and Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Education and Partnerships to lead our education initiatives and build strategic partnerships with universities, multilateral organizations, and other stakeholders in the higher education sector.

  1. Lead the development of thought leadership papers, reports, and articles on key issues in higher education;
  2. Interface with regulatory bodies, Ministry of Education, and other related ministries/state governments to proactively engage in developing FICCI report/inputs on government notifications, policy documents, etc.;
  3. Develop strategic partnerships with university leaders, multilateral/bilateral organizations, and other important stakeholders in higher education;
FICCI Higher Education Committee & Taskforces (TF)

The Director will be responsible for:

  • Conducting periodic committee meetings under the guidance of Committee leadership (develop agenda, prepare minutes, etc.);
  • Identifying and creating small groups of experts/Task Forces to address specific sectoral issues;
  • Working with the identified Task Forces (TFs) in developing papers and executing bespoke projects;
Higher Education Summit (HES)

The Director will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and managing the annual global FICCI Higher Education Summit;
  • Working with the Committee leadership in designing the conference program and identifying national and international partners;
  • Managing masterclasses/workshops and focused closed-door interactions between industry and academic leaders;
Projects

The Director will work towards:

  • Identifying and executing projects in the space of industry-academia engagement;
  • Reconnecting with FICCI's NKFH (National Knowledge Functional Hub) partners and initiating activities based on the NKFH framework;
  • Engaging with World Bank and other global agencies and exploring joint projects;
