Electrical Design Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design professional to lead our team's efforts in developing innovative product solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems and UPS industries, with a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing product designs based on customer requirements for DC SMPS based Power Systems, UPS Panels, and Distribution Panels.
  • Providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards such as IEC 60204-1 and IEC 61439-1-2.
  • Analyzing technical requirements of project goals.
  • Preparing design documents (BOM, GA Drawings, Electrical drawings).
  • Reviewing engineering drawings and design calculations in line with technical specifications and relevant engineering standards.
  • Suggesting ways to optimize the BOM cost.
  • Providing quality engineering documentation and implementing practices to ensure accuracy of engineering documentation.
  • Planning and executing projects for process improvements and new products as per quality management system requirements.
  • Providing proactive and contemporary engineering support to production and quality teams.

Key skills required include:

  • Designing of DC SMPS based Power Systems for telecom and industrial requirements.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical designing of Electrical Panels/UPS Panels - ACDB/DCDB/MCC/PCC.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD for SLD and Wiring Diagrams.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Switchgear/Cables & Bus-Bar sizing/Mechanical designing/Wire Harness/Product Quality & Safety norms/Testing of Panels.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical codes and Standards.
  • Project Management Skills.
