Job Overview

The Director of Automotive Electronics Hardware will spearhead the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently design and develop electrical hardware solutions for automotive applications, incorporating microcontrollers, system-on-chip (SOC), high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and other technologies.
  • Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Design and develop innovative automotive products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Perform worst-case analysis and simulations to guarantee product reliability and safety.
  • Support product design reviews and create comprehensive documentation for stakeholders.
  • Maintain electrical design-for-manufacturability (DFMEA) and generate electrical information for printed circuit board (PCB) layout.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware prototype build and testing.
  • Present and communicate product design, analysis, and testing results effectively to customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and developing automotive electronics hardware.
  • Expertise in microcontrollers, SOC, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
