Hardware Engineer

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems, including high-speed microprocessors and architectural circuit designs.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Excellent skills in electronic systems design, electronics troubleshooting, and electronic testing are essential.
  • A strong knowledge of high-speed microprocessors, architectural circuit design, and different micro-controller circuit designs is required.
  • You should have experience in power over line communications and faults detections, as well as estimating hardware design tasks, identifying risks, and planning development.
  • A proficient understanding of SPI, I2C, USB, 232/485 Serial, and Ethernet interface designs is necessary.
  • You should have experience with PCB materials, fabrications process, and assembly/manufacturing knowledge of PCB/PCBA and DFX methods/definitions.
  • Extensive experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscope, variac load resistors, AC/DC supplies is expected.
  • You should be proficient in using PCB CAD and circuit simulators and analysis tools – Mentor Graphics, SPICE, PSPICE, and HSPICE.
  • Coodinating with software/Firmware teams on designs and development of products and systems is also essential.
