Job Title: Manager (HR Operations, Payroll and Compliance)

Location: Bangalore

Mode: Hybrid (3 days from the office)

Working Hours: 45 hours weekly (UK Shift)

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR systems from hire to retire data management, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits for APAC countries.
  • Coordinate with vendors on system enhancements and validate full and final settlements for resigned employees.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, coordinating with inter-departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Optimize cost and minimize risk through effective vendor management.
  • Proactively manage available resources to support business-as-usual operations and global HR projects.
  • Address employee payroll queries and issues promptly and accurately.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in human resources or MBA.
  • 15-20 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 5-10 people.
  • Proficiency in HRM systems such as Workday/Oracle.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience in a global matrix organization preferred.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and vendors effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
