Job Title: Operations Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by participating in regular sanitization tasks.
  • Efficiently manage peak service times while adhering to established protocols to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee daily inventory management activities, including conducting physical counts and accurately reporting stock levels.
  • Minimize waste in the kitchen by implementing efficient use of ingredients and best practices.
  • Utilize computer software to streamline kitchen operations, including managing checklists, placing orders, and compiling daily reports.
  • Ensure staff maintains high standards of grooming and hygiene.
  • Document SOS incidents and arrange for emergency deliveries as needed.
  • Submit accurate and timely daily reports to facilitate informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education is beneficial but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment, including hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, inventory management, packaging, dispatching, and training.
  • Advanced understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills for planning and executing mise-en-place activities.
  • Ability to efficiently manage peak service times and meet performance targets.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, including physical counts and accurate reporting.
  • Proven leadership abilities to motivate and effectively manage a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for kitchen management and reporting.
