Financial Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our financial strategy, controls, compliance, and reporting functions.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and experience in managing statutory and regulatory audits.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with external regulators, partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the organization.
  • Develop and oversee internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with business operations.
  • Manage periodic audits—statutory, internal, regulatory—and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on AML, KYC, tax, and regulatory filings.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in fintech or payments companies.
  • A fair understanding of crypto markets, blockchain transactions, digital asset accounting, and custody mechanisms is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms (e.g., VASP, FATF guidelines).
  • Demonstrated experience managing statutory and regulatory audits, and a history of collaboration with tier 1 audit firms 
  • Profound knowledge of financial controls, risk management, and treasury operations within a dynamic environment.
  • CA / CPA/ ACCA certifications are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Crypto payment or infrastructure space
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing (e.g., DIFC, MAS, EU MiCA)
