Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to develop and execute demand forecasting and inventory management strategies that drive business growth and efficiency in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate demand forecasts by analyzing data, market trends, and product lifecycle information.
  • Adjust forecasts based on real-time market and sales input to ensure continuous accuracy.
  • Recommend inventory optimization strategies to balance service levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
  • Implement effective inventory management for new product launches and promotions.
  • Analyze and refine existing demand planning processes to enhance forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Implement demand planning tools and train internal teams on best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to align demand forecasts with overall business strategy.
  • Facilitate regular S&OP meetings to ensure smooth integration between demand and supply planning.
  • Provide regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and performance metrics.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • APICS certification is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain consulting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with demand planning software (e.g., SAP, JDA).

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication abilities and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and regulatory requirements.
