Job Role: Materials Planning Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Materials Planning Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing materials to ensure seamless service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demand Forecasting: Monitor and analyze demand forecasts and aged supply data to make informed decisions.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking by coordinating with suppliers.
  • Documentation: Document all material planning processes and procedures accurately.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and transportation optimization.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using supply chain planning software and tools, e.g., Oracle GLPROD, Oracle Demantra, Salesforce, SPM, Service parts Management demand planning software.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
