Demand Planning Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planning Specialist to fill a critical role in our organization. As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand plans that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and data analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on demand planning and forecasting activities.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting in consumer goods, food & beverage, or manufacturing industries.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytics tools and software (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro) is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in statistical modeling, data analysis, and mathematical optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP ECC, S4 Hana, and JDE.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes, including Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Excellence (S&OE).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
