Project Cost Management Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Project Cost Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that project costs are accurately estimated, tracked, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost management, with experience in performing cost analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cost analysis and control, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on project costs;
  • Track costs across engineering, procurement, and construction phases, ensuring alignment with budgets;
  • Prepare detailed variance reports, analyzing the causes of deviations between budgeted and actual costs;
  • Validate petty cash and non-PO based expenses, supplier assessment, advance to suppliers, utilization of credit facility, and credit period;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), IFRS 9, IFRS 16, and IAS 16;
  • Understanding of EPC project lifecycle, cost drivers, and risks;
  • Technical proficiency in project management and accounting software (SAP, Oracle);
  • Strong analytical skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • 8 years of experience in EPC industry as a CWA/CMA;
  • Excellent knowledge of project cost management, including cost estimation, scheduling, and budgeting;
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders;
