Instrumentation and Control (ICA) Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control (ICA) Engineer to join our team. As an ICA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and commissioning PLC, RTU, and SCADA systems.

  • Design and implement efficient system designs using Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and layout drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with various instruments such as flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analysers, actuators, Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV), Flow Control Valves (FCV), and electrical panel integration.
  • Ability to interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently according to site requirements.
  • Experience in cable laying with necessary accessories in trenches and trays, as well as understanding cable schedules and routing drawings.
  • Proficiency in configuring and commissioning flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.
  • Responsible for providing site clearances to sub-contractors and in-house teams, and organizing necessary facilities for project targets to be met.
  • Coordinate site team activities, consultant/client coordination related to ICA activities, and planning and execution of all works.
  • Implement and manage safety protocols to ensure zero injury results, and prioritize safety in all aspects of the job.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and layout drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with various instruments and electrical panel integration.
  • Ability to interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in cable laying and configuring instrumentation equipment.
  • Proficiency in managing safety protocols and prioritizing safety.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
