Electrical Control System Engineer Job Description

Professionals with relevant design experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power Generation, and Petrochemical sectors are encouraged to apply. We seek individuals with good knowledge of Electrical Control Systems (Power monitoring Systems), communication protocols, architecture diagrams, and IEC61850.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Electrical control systems
  • Preparing and reviewing technical specifications and data sheets
  • Creating I/O lists
  • Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase and TBE of ECS/PMS and IRP
  • Collaborating with other technical disciplines involved
  • Able to adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility as required
  • Demonstrating awareness and commitment to health, safety, and environmental issues
  • Managing engineering vendors data

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Designing electrical equipment and materials
  • 10 years or more experience working in the electrical discipline in an engineering company
  • Effective communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Understanding of other disciplines
  • Able to complete tasks in accordance with project requirements
  • Able to discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively
  • Self-motivated and quick learner
  • Excellent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing
