Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of BIM Electrical Specialist.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing 3D electrical models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
  • They will create electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, and lighting and ELV systems.
  • A key responsibility will be preparing electrical circuit layouts, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Ensuring clash detection and resolution through coordination with other MEP disciplines is crucial.
  • The successful candidate will generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation drawings based on design models.
  • Effective collaboration with engineers, architects, and contractors for BIM execution and coordination is essential.
  • Familiarity with project-specific BIM standards, LOD requirements, and documentation protocols is required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is necessary.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in BIM electrical modeling for MEP projects is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, Di-Roots, Dynamo is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and cable routing is essential.
  • Experience with clash detection, coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration is crucial.
  • Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements is necessary.
