Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage premium collections to maximize efficiency and reduce aged debt.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities, ensuring seamless audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Escalate overdue accounts and initiate recovery actions as necessary, mitigating financial risk.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance and risk exposure, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, driving growth and profitability while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in credit control within the UK insurance industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Expertise in Lloyd's market processes and systems, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems is essential, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
