Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our team of experts in the field of sustainability.

The successful candidate will work closely with our business development team to provide wide-ranging services in carbon advisory, renewable energy, and sustainable solutions.

About the Role

The role involves supporting the development of our knowledge base on carbon markets through desk-based research, identifying new business opportunities, and generating leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on local and national levels to categorize reports, documents, and policies.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services.
  • Seek out appropriate contacts in organizations and generate leads through regular follow-ups.
  • Assist seniors in developing sales pitches for prospective clients and participate in presentations of business ideas.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and expedite processes.
  • Draw up client contracts depending on company size and service requirements.
  • Support the reporting manager in tracking and maintaining leads generated and providing data for client-specific presentations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant qualifications and 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy, carbon consultancy, or a related field.

You should also have excellent written and spoken English skills, good communication and report-writing skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

A team player with adaptable working nature and multitasking ability is essential for this role.
