Are you a skilled professional looking to leverage your expertise in Agile project management and business analysis? We have an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master + Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching the team on Agile/Scrum best practices, and tracking metrics to communicate with stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling, as well as experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, we would love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
  • Coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and principles
  • Remove impediments and foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment
  • Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders
  • Work closely with Team, Business and Stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog

Business Analyst Duties:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for data warehouse and data services projects
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work with data architects, engineers, and QA to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately
  • Develop process flows, data mappings, and other documentation as needed
  • Support data quality initiatives and help define data governance standards
  • Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of data solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data warehousing, data analytics, or data services
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
  • Optional but good to have - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus
