Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Scientist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and intermediate SQL skills, with experience building, deploying, and evaluating ML/NLP/GenAI systems. They will also possess expertise in ML system design, software engineering best practices, and cloud systems, especially Azure.

A successful Data Scientist will be able to articulate complex tasks into implementation strategies, demonstrate strong communication skills, and work closely with other data professionals to deliver impactful data science products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, planning, prototyping, productionizing, maintaining and documenting reliable and scalable data science products in complex environments
  • Carrying out data analyses to yield actionable business insights
  • Building scalable, re-usable, impactful data science products, usually containing statistical or machine learning algorithms
  • Developing data science tools and approaches across all data lifecycle stages
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, planning, prototyping, productionizing, maintaining and documenting reliable and scalable data science products in complex environments
  • Thorough understanding of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning
  • Advanced SQL knowledge
  • Development experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Java, C++)
  • Knowledge of experimental design and analysis
  • Customer-centric and pragmatic mindset, focusing on value delivery and swift execution while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud systems, especially Azure
  • Knowledge of traditional ML perspective, including mathematical optimizers and parameter selection
