Job Title: Financial Invoicing Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices to customers while maintaining financial accuracy and meeting delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely invoices for customers.
  • Timely Delivery: Ensure invoices are delivered within agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Customer Portal Entry: Enter invoices into customer-specific invoicing platforms.
  • Electronic Submission: Submit invoices through electronic data interchange.
  • Customized Invoicing: Understand unique invoicing requirements for each customer.
  • Accuracy Verification: Verify invoice accuracy prior to submission.
  • Support Documentation: Maintain supporting documents and backups for all invoices.
  • System Updates: Provide timely updates on invoice submission status in our accounting system.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records of invoice submissions and customer interactions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance and accounting team to ensure smooth invoicing processes.
  • Account Statements: Generate and send account statements to customers.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile self-billed cases with approved timesheets and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Invoice Revisions: Handle rejected or revised invoices and process credit or rebills as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 0-1.5 years of experience in invoicing or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, pivot tables).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
