Your Role

As Finance & Operations Co-Founder, you will be instrumental in driving our financial strategy, fundraising efforts, and operational scale-up. You'll ensure we have the necessary resources, systems, and processes in place to grow sustainably from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Financial Strategy

- Develop and manage robust financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).

- Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, and manage financial modelling and investor relations.

- Establish efficient financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.

- Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.

2) Marketplace Operations

- Design and execute a comprehensive marketplace operations playbook.

- Develop operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.

- Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts and events meet attendee demand.

- Build trust and safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.

3) Scaling & Partnerships

- Oversee legal and compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.

- Forge strategic partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.

- Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.

- Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

Requirements:

- Strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.

- Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is highly valued.

- Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.

- Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.

- Passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
