Job Overview

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks across web, APIs, and mobile apps. Your expertise in creating scalable and efficient automation scripts will help drive quality and reliability throughout our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive test approaches that cover web, API, and mobile functionalities. Convert user stories and acceptance criteria into executable tests.
  • Framework Ownership: Design and maintain clean, modular, and highly configurable automation frameworks with parallel execution capabilities.
  • Web UI Automation: Craft reliable Selenium tests for cross-browser coverage, stabilize flakiness, and run at scale using Selenium Grid or BrowserStack.
  • API Testing & Automation: Create automated REST API tests including schema validation, authentication flows, and mocks/stubs.
  • Mobile Testing: Automate native and hybrid apps using Appium (Android/iOS), manage devices/emulators, and integrate runs with device farms.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java with solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit or PyTest, Page Object Model (POM)/Screenplay, and Cucumber (optional).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON schema validation, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Knowledge of Appium, Xcode tools, Simulator/Emulator management, and device clouds.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and analysis.
