Automation Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for React web and mobile applications using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Detox.
- Write and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services using Postman and scripting frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.
- Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automation tests for UI and API layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in the testing process.
- Improve the overall quality of software releases by identifying and reporting defects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
- Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.
