Job Description

The Role in Brief -

As an IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager, you facilitate seamless compliance across our operations, aligning with all relevant national and international laws and regulations. This encompasses professional standards, accepted business practices, internal policy standards, and IT Security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS.

This position requires both an ethical approach and a practical understanding of compliance to help the organization manage risk and build trust with its customers.

You will be working in a highly innovative and dynamic FinTech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage IT Controls & Compliance Frameworks for our organization.
  • E nsure compliance with industry-best security practices within SaaS environments.
  • Manage and coordinate customer and independent third-party attestations as part of contractual obligations and certification requirements.
  • Support Third-Party Risk assessments and regular assurance programs.
  • Prior experience working with GRC tools and platforms is required.
  • Ability to analyze and translate laws, regulations, and technical requirements into commercially focused business processes.
  • Execute and report status on Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Program metrics.
  • Proficient at maintaining policies and procedures as part of the Policy Governance Framework and coordinating this with other departments.

Requirements

Functional Skills

We are looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant working experience in implementing Compliance programs internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Academic degree desired in IT Security, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or Information Security.
  • Fluent English - written and spoken required.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. ISC2 or CompTIA certifications) desired or willingness to obtain them.
Business Acumen

Your ability to integrate with Agile/Scrum working environments and drive teams will be essential.

Knowledge of Secure-SDLC tooling and Application Security is also required.

Familiarity with Open Banking / PSD2 is an added advantage.

Additionally, you should have knowledge of multiple security and privacy frameworks, Third-party risk, outsourcing, and banking regulations.

Modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and Software-as-a-Service risks associated with these models are also expected to be understood.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to lead tactical compliance setup and operations.
  • SME capability to give concise and to-the-point compliance advice.
  • A proactive and analytical program management approach.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills to find practical business solutions.
Collaborations and Interactions

Effective internal and external stakeholder management, collaboration with colleagues from relevant departments, vendors, partners, and customers are crucial.
