Category Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and scale the Toys category. This individual will be responsible for onboarding leading Toys brands and launching them across e-commerce marketplaces and offline retail channels.

Responsibilities:
  • Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy to drive growth and profitability in the Toys category.
  • Brand Onboarding: Onboard leading Toys brands, ensuring seamless integration across e-commerce marketplaces and offline retail channels.
  • Portfolio Management: Build and manage a curated portfolio of brands exclusively in the Toys category, optimizing assortment expansion and SKU management.
  • Assortment Expansion: Drive brand growth through assortment expansion, iterating packaging, content, and supply chain processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize brand performance and contribute to a robust omnichannel presence.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior 8+ years of work experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and e-commerce and at least 2+ years in the Toys category.
  • Consumer Understanding: Deep understanding of Toys' specific consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier network.
  • Marketplace Expertise: Expertise in marketplace/retail selling: category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
  • Collaboration: Proven record of cross-functional collaboration across brand, ops, tech, and analytics.
