
Director of Learning and Development

We are seeking a visionary Training Director to spearhead the development and implementation of our learning and development strategy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for crafting a comprehensive training program that aligns with our business objectives and ensures our employees embody our brand values.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the overall training and learning strategy, aligned with business objectives and driven by market trends.
- Design customized programs in collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders, leveraging industry best practices and research-driven methodologies.
- Build a training roadmap for various employee groups, including frontline staff, store managers, and leadership teams, to ensure consistent delivery and measurable impact.
- Create and deliver training modules on luxury customer service, clienteling, selling skills, brand storytelling, and Bespoke service for high-net-worth individuals, incorporating real-world case studies and interactive elements.
- Develop product knowledge sessions in collaboration with design and merchandising teams, highlighting key features and benefits of our luxury offerings.
- Implement e-learning and blended learning solutions to enhance accessibility, engagement, and retention, while tracking key metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Ensure consistency in brand training delivery across all stores and regions, through regular assessments, mystery audits, and feedback mechanisms.
- Monitor effectiveness of training programs through data-driven insights, sales performance metrics, and customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing strategies.
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting metrics for training impact, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Standardize induction programs for all new hires, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and setting the tone for their long-term success within the organization.
- Introduce innovative learning methodologies, such as gamification, microlearning, and digital learning platforms, to stay ahead of the curve and meet evolving learner needs.
- Stay up-to-date with luxury retail training trends, competitor benchmarks, and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Develop and implement a framework to evaluate training effectiveness at all levels, measuring pre- and post-training impact on key business metrics, such as sales conversion, average transaction value, and repeat customer rate.
- Collect and analyze participant feedback, customer feedback, and manager inputs to continuously refine programs, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies.
- Generate regular reports on training outcomes for senior leadership, highlighting ROI and actionable insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Benchmark training impact against industry best practices to ensure competitive advantage and ongoing success.
Qualifications & Experience: Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field; 10-12 years of experience in Training & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role; prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, or hospitality is highly desirable.
